When Paris, Prince of Troy, falls in love with Queen Helen of Sparta, she leaves her husband King Menelaus to be with him. This betrayal sets the stage for the brutal Trojan War that sees King Menelaus mobilise the forces of his brother Agamemnon to lay siege to the fortress city of Troy. Bringing their legendary warrior Achilles with them, the Greeks begin their long battle with the Trojans that cannot be won be force alone.
