Sean Boswell is an outcast troublemaker who is sent to live with his father, a Navy lieutenant stationed in Tokyo. Upon arrival he quickly gets into the underground racing scene and develops a rivalry with the Drift King, Takashi. In order to succeed in Tokyo, Sean will need to learn how to drift when he races, but his problems grow larger when he falls for Takashi’s girlfriend, Neela.
