Lucy returns to her family’s home in Hawaii for vacation and decides to throw a party with some friends. She introduces them to the family’s pet chimpanzee, Ben, who has been a fixture of her life for years. But when Ben is bitten by a wild animal and contracts rabies, he turns from a lovable housemate to a vicious killer who wants nothing more than to tear everyone to shreds.
