Mike Schmidt, an unsettled security guard, embarks on a nighttime position at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, a formerly popular but presently mostly deserted family amusement centre. During his time there, he stumbles upon a startling revelation: after midnight, the four animatronic mascots — Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy — are capable of movement and brutally killing anyone who stands in their way.
