Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler relocate to Rio Paloma in South Texas in order to restart their life outside the long shadow cast by Yellowstone. In their new home, they face a rival ranch owner in Beulah Jackson, who is wary of these outsiders trying to gain a foothold in her area. Meanwhile, their adopted son Carter must also adapt to his change of environment as he accidentally finds himself in the midst of local drama.
